LaserSettings collects laser engraving and cutting settings sorted by brand, machine model, laser source (diode, CO2, fibre, IR), material and thickness. For each combination you get the power, the speed, the number of passes and the result obtained.
The catalogue covers 37 brands, 125 machines and 60 materials. Every published setting states the machine and the source used, and can be confirmed or disputed by the members who reproduced it: that traceability is what separates a trustworthy value from a number found at random on a forum.
The material guides, the safety rules and the test grid generator are free to browse. A setting is always a starting point: test on an offcut, work with fume extraction and never leave a machine unattended.
The source decides what is possible: a 10 W blue diode does not engrave glass, a 40 W CO2 does not mark bare steel, a 20 W fibre does not cut plywood. The same machine fitted with a different module becomes a different tool, which is why every setting here names its source explicitly.
Thickness matters just as much. A setting that works on 3 mm plywood does not work on 6 mm: the number of passes, the speed and sometimes the focus all change. Settings published without a source and a thickness are unusable, so both are mandatory.
Reliability comes from the community: each setting can be confirmed by a member who reproduced it, or disputed when it does not work. Photos of the result — cut edges, engraving shades, scorching, tear-out — say far more than an isolated number.
