What a report is for

A report is the fastest way to protect other members. Use it for three things: a setting that is clearly dangerous or wrong, a photo unrelated to laser engraving, and content that breaks the law or someone else's rights.

The most important case is the dangerous setting. Too much power on a flammable material, a cut announced as possible on a chlorinated plastic, a thickness that does not match the stated machine: those mistakes can cost a fire, a burnt lens or poisoning. Describe what you observed on your own machine, with the exact material and the result — that precision makes the decision quick.

Next comes the reliability dispute, which is different from a report: if a setting is not dangerous but simply inaccurate on your machine, dispute it from its own card. It then loses its confirmation while it is checked, and other members immediately see that a doubt exists.

Every report is reviewed by hand from the dashboard, never handled by an automatic filter. Three outcomes are possible: the content is removed, it is corrected, or the report is dismissed when it reflects a difference of machine or material rather than a real error. Abusive, repeated reports are logged too.

Your details are never passed to the reported person. For a copyright, privacy or legal matter, use the Contact page instead: those requests need a written answer and a follow-up this form does not provide.
