Every photo in this gallery is a part actually engraved or cut by a member, published together with the machine, the laser source, the material, the thickness and the settings used. Seeing the result before burning your own material is the fastest way to judge whether a setting suits what you have in mind.
Filter by material or by machine to compare: the same 3 mm plywood does not look the same engraved with a 10 W diode and with a 40 W CO2, and the same acrylic can come out either frosted or polished depending on the number of passes and the speed.
Photos also reveal what numbers hide: scorched edges, tear-out on the back face, halos around an engraving, a cut that only went through in one corner. Members can confirm or dispute a setting, so a photo backed by several confirmations is worth much more than an isolated value.
Publishing your own parts is free with an account. A short caption, the machine, the material and the settings are enough; you keep the credit for your photo everywhere it is shown, including on the sharing cards generated for social networks.
