By publishing a setting, a note or a photo, the user warrants owning the rights to it and grants LaserSettings a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to reproduce and display it on the site. Unlawful, dangerous, incorrect or off-topic content may be corrected or removed without notice. Publishing rules: only publish settings you actually tested, never publish a setting for a forbidden material, stay civil. Breaching these rules may lead to the account being blocked: Premium access is then suspended WITHOUT REFUND, since the service was delivered and the suspension results from the user's own conduct. Published settings — verified, community or computed — are indicative starting points. They depend on the machine, its condition, the optics, the material batch and the environment. LaserSettings gives no warranty of result and cannot be held liable for wasted material, a damaged machine, a fire or any health damage. The user remains solely responsible for safety, certified eye protection, fume extraction and applicable regulations.
Class 3B and 4 laser devices are a serious hazard to eyes and skin and a fire hazard. Some materials (PVC, PTFE, ABS, polycarbonate, carbon fibre, resins) release toxic or corrosive gases: processing them is forbidden. Read the Safety page before use.
Data controller: the site publisher, reachable at contact@lasersettings.fr. Collected data is limited to email, nickname and, where applicable, the Google profile picture, contact-form messages, plus published content and pass status. It is only used to manage the account and Premium access, is never sold or transferred, and is kept for the lifetime of the account. You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection (GDPR art. 15-22).
The site uses a strictly necessary httpOnly session cookie, plus local storage for the language and for a pass bought without an account. No advertising cookie or third-party tracker is set.
Premium passes are digital content delivered immediately, so the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply once access is opened with the buyer's express consent. Card payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe: no bank data ever transits or is stored on lasersettings.fr, and VAT is calculated, collected and remitted by Stripe. An invoice can be downloaded from “My settings → Purchases” after each purchase. The service currently runs in Stripe test mode until the business is registered; PayPal will be added afterwards. These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will first be addressed amicably.
